Built by lifters, drawn by artists.
I've been under a barbell most of my life. I competed, then work and becoming a father pulled me out of the sport — and Hikkari started as part of finding my way back to it.
The idea was simple: the gear you train in should mean something. So we commission original art rooted in Japanese mythology & Culture from independent artists — paid and credited — and print it on heavyweight fabric built to survive the work.
光影 — light and shadow. Every drop is about the arc from one to the other, because that's what training actually is. You go through the dark part to get to the other side.
Built by an athlete, for athletes. Not a brand that borrowed the aesthetic — one that lives in it.
